Bought a revo here a while ago and not used it in a very long time!
now trying to use kodi all I get is a black screen.
its running windows 7 with Jarvis.
can anyone help me out with an image file to wipe the revo and reinstall windows and reload the revo to get kodi working?
did u try checking the kodi error logs, it might be some device or software needs disabling to load it successfully
on my retropie it didn't like a ps3 controller via usb while a regular usb keyboard was plugged in and kodi was throwing out a usb error
I haven't no I will take a look and see tomorrow, but if anyone does have a revo image I would be grateful.
You would either tap F8 repeatedly at boot, if there is an option for repair my computer then select that and it may have a recovery option to reset to factory settings. Otherwise you can download a clean Win 7 image and use that along with the product key on the COA to activate then install any drivers from the Acer site. You could use the time trick to upgrade to Windows 10 for free and choose to keep nothing. Lastly, if you used it solely for Kodi then I would load up a Kodibuntu image so it boots straight to Kodi, it performed better for me this way when I used a Revo setup, I actually configured grub to dual boot Windows/Kodibuntu.
Ok this is the kodi error log but i dont see whats wrong?

the only issue i have is that the revo is in portugal and im using team viewer to try to get it going :(

so has anyone local tried to open it without some Remote control/screen share in use?
Is it black on the local device without teamviewer connected at the time? Full screen apps can cause problems with TV, you may be able to run Kodi windowed as a test. Even with a HDD image you won't be able to write it over Teamviewer.
Have you tried removing and reinstalling Kodi? May want to take a backup first if you have configured it and don't want to start from scratch.
have you tried ALT + Enter to go into Window mode? then the same again to get back to full-screen?
