if you want to install these follow this post http://www.digital-forums.com/showpo...8&postcount=42 and replace 260.19.44 with 270.41.06

They seem to be speeding through updates at the moment, I install 270.32 just yesterday!
Re: Acer Revo XBMCLive Setup guide. *Still a Draft*
Help.... :)
How do I setup my wireless card on my Revo? My homeplugs can't hack it (guessing because of the old wiring and large multiple ring mains) , and wondered if wireless N would be capable of transmitting HD. I set my REvo up a long while ago. Not sure if I configured the Wirless card. Have found a few guides and followed them. But no wireless. I have probably done more damage.
Is it worth me starting again?

I was thinking...
If you have a simplified remote tutorial it would be good to add to this thread. Just read through pairing the PS3 remote to XBMClive and it reads like a proper mission. I will attempt it tomorrow.

I setup a wireless card the other day for a Revo.
It's not for the faint hearted, you are probably better off using the homeplugs.
The USB DONGLE I setup was a Wireless N (The R3610 has B/G - The R3700 is N).
He wanted to use the wireless to download only, once downloaded, CP and SB were sorting into the connected drives.
This is probably the easiest way to do it

I tried once, but could not get the Bluetooth to work correctly using the XBMCLive commandline, the driver is ropey at best, it did work, but holding the button down didnt, you had to tap it to move through - total bitch when you have over 500 films and 2000 TV Shows!
Hence why I use a HP MCE Remote, in my case, simply plug and play! ;)

No matter what I do I can't get the wireless working. I got wicd-curses running. But was getting a no networks found message, even though I have network. Then I rebooted and tried to run wicd-curses again and it wouldn't run. One to have a go at again at a later date.

I don't know you insist on over complicating this.
Just install Ubuntu 11.04, add the XMBC repo and away you go.
I've never had any problems with the inbuilt wireless on my 3610, and can stream HD content via MythTV and Boxee from my server in my garage without any problems.
As has been said before if you want you can set XBMC to autostart on a full blown Ubuntu install.
Re: Acer Revo XBMCLive Setup guide. *Still a Draft*
just a heads up to anyone with enigma2 based satellite boxes (dream box dm800, vu+ etc), theres a pvr plugin being worked on for them which grabs all epg and channel data from the box and loads it into xbmc for viewing, Ive been streaming from my dm800 to other xbmc boxes around the house with ease. (previously HD streams on other methods would stutter, but this is smooth as silk)
link below for openelec version (essentially a linux distro built from ground up just for xbmc to give it a STB feel)
