Re: Your best 3D experience?
It has to be avatar for me. Although, not watched a 3D film in the cinema since.
Re: Your best 3D experience?
Rogue one in iMax as for home 3ding I have gave up on it but probably the best one I did watch was the last resident evil the one with Sack Man in it ;-)
Re: Your best 3D experience?
Got a 3D TV at home and I have tried a few movies out:
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Mad Max: Fury Road
Jurassic Park
Jurassic World
Prometheus
Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows - Part 1
I have not found any of them to be fantastic but they all worked really well.
I was most impressed with the original Jurassic Park as it was obviously never made with 3D in mind but they did do a good job of adding it in
Re: Your best 3D experience?
Not an entire film, but the scene at the beginnig of Monsters V Aliens where he is using a ping pong bat and the ball comes right out of the screen - great stuff. Also agree with Avatar. Despicable Me is good too.
Also have some underwater coral scenes with fish going in and out of it. Thne 3D popping is superb.
Re: Your best 3D experience?
I've sat through a lot of 3D movies and the best two in terms of 3D are Avatar and Hugo. The Force Awakens has a few decent moments too but most movies are not made with 3D in mind and added in post production.
Re: Your best 3D experience?
3D sucks donkey balls.
Thats not a recommendation, just my opinion. Comes round every 30 years and while each time it gets better, it adds nothing to movies for me.

You could throw The Jungle Book, Gravity & Doctor Strange in there too. They're all pretty good.
