Confirmed Alien "Earth" Orbits Nearby Star
NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft travels at 36,373 miles per hour (58,536 km/h), If it was aimed toward this planet, which is 4.2 light-years away, it would take about 78,000 years to get there.

The star closest to the sun hosts a planet that may be very much like Earth, a new study reports.
Astronomers have discovered a roughly Earth-size alien world around Proxima Centauri, which lies just 4.2 light-years from our own solar system. What's even more exciting, study team members said, is that the planet, known as Proxima b, circles in the star's "habitable zone" — the range of distances at which liquid water could be stable on a world's surface.
"We hope these findings inspire future generations to keep looking beyond the stars," lead author Guillem Anglada-Escude, a physics and astronomy lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, said in a statement."The search for life on Proxima b comes next."
Re: Confirmed Alien "Earth" Orbits Nearby Star
This should be in the news section, as it is real news. However, the fucking secure team video is not.
Why do you need to believe in the shit they post when the reality is probably more bizarre than even their addled minds could imagine? The Universe is teeming with mysteries we have yet to solve, but let's solve them with real science. Let's not speculate wildly using videos from a bloke who says the craziest shit possible to get any many YouTube hits as he can.
Watch YouTube videos from real science contributors, such as the The Royal Institiution or the SETI Institute and help drive science, and the discoveries such as this, forward.
Re: Confirmed Alien "Earth" Orbits Nearby Star
I did read and watch the 'real news' videos of this, but Secure teams videos are always more entertaining, to me anyway.
I personally prefer listening to 'Tylers' crap than some boring scientist from SETI, but that's MY choice.
And if it upsets you that much, why not avoid this section?

If it's not mentioned on The Simpson's then it can't possibly be true.
