Re: Changing From sky to a zgemma
I wouldn’t bother with a zegemma unless you plan on using it for a VM service.
Either an android box as satzz has suggested or a firestick will do the trick nicely.
I use a firestick for Netflix, amazon video, and iptv so it’s nice to have it all on one device.
i do have a zegemma h2s which is only used for Freeview now, iptv on the zegemma is pretty pants tbh.

Re: Changing From sky to a zgemma
Always found mine a bit unstable or under powered for IPTV unless it's just a crap service it was using.
Re: Changing From sky to a zgemma
Why is it crap on Zgemma ? I have my dad on a zgemma hs2 with the sly skin on. Much much better than my old dad (84) trying to get to grips with android box's or firesticks and the like...1 wrong press of the button and he was without TV until someone could call round to help him (Lucky he has a neighbour who was basically turning his TV over for him daily at the time when he was trying out these things).
I set the Zgemma up just before xmas and from the horses mouth it has been fantastic. I witnessed it being 95/100 for a couple of weeks (5 marks off for the very occasional glitch) dad says it has behaved in much the same way ever since and he is happy as a pig in the brown stuff.
Edit to add -
Firestick he had for 2 months - he would press the home button and siptv would be off and he could not get to grips with moving through the menus left, right,up,down using the firestick remote. He couldn't get to grips with how to change to group view on siptv, so he could only stay in one section say sport, until someone who could navigate the menus could assist.
Tried kodi on stick - again FS remote....couldnt get to grips with it.
Neighbour sorted him out a android box from china - put his server details on it (Good friend of mines but not as into the scene...bit of an impulse buyer) - again dad couldnt navigate menu's ok kodi to actually start the service up.....great if you could switch it on and the TV appeared in bouquets he CAN manage that and with no (BAD BUTTON {home button on fs remote}) which if accidentally pressed takes you to start page then yes that would be great.
The Zgemma sorts all of that out for the sake of ?50 we paid on ebay for the box can't complain.
Re: Changing From sky to a zgemma
For IPTV and going to a new service
Mag box all the way
It?s what there built for plain and simple.

Easy to navigate and better than a shit android box anyway
