My Nephew is getting a 3DSXL for xmas. His dad has said to buy him a couple of games. He has bought it with Mickey Mouse so I need to know which games are good for a 5 year old to buy?

Obvious shout is the mario range, on a side note I thought these weren't recommended for under 7's or have I just made that up?

Yeah that was the first thought but it might just be a bit too advanced.
He is not the smartest of lads, something repetitive would be ideal I think.
My 5 and 3 yos love mario cart 7, london 2012, nintendogs.
Would depend on you lads interests.
Can't say we play on our 3ds that often. Prob once or twice a week but I think the reason my kids love mario kart and london 2012 is my wife and I system link up 4 machines and do the multiplayer.
The only other thing I recommend is you PIN lock the machines to 2D and not let them use the 3D.
