1. i-Funbox is in my opinion, one of the finest Installous alternatives you can get your hands on. One of the best things about i-Funbox is that even though it comes as a desktop app, it’s easy and fun to use. There is not much of a learning curve in installing IPA files that you can either search directly on the software or the ones you download from elsewhere.
2. AppCake is something we posted on recently. It’s one of the finest Installous alternatives that has gained popularity. AppCake comes from the iphonecake repo which is quite popular too. What makes AppCake a very good Installous alternative is the fact that the usage is pretty much similar to Installous so users of Installous would certainly find AppCake familiar.

4. IPA Search. When you visit IPA Search from your iPhone, you can search for valid IPA files from the app.su server. 6. IPA Installer Console. This doesn't usually happen but grab it while it lasts. There is a Cydia tweak called IPA Installer Console in the BigBoss repo (default) which lets you install IPA files and edits the iTunesMetadata.plist file to bypass update checks. The default repos usually do not allow such tweaks to be hosted, and it sure looks strange but IPA Installer Console works just fine. With it, you can install IPA files that you’ve downloaded from various sources. The IPA Installer Console will also let you play/run apps on a device that is not supported officially by the app.

7. AppAddict is a relatively new service which works very similar to AppTrackr. It’s an online repository of several cracked apps you can install on your iPhone. If you visit their website from your iPhone, you’ll also be able to get to the iOS version of the website so finding and downloading apps becomes easier.

8. IPAStore.me is another new alternative that hosts a ton of cracked apps you can try on your iPhone (before buying them from the App Store). surely to be regarded as an installous alternative it would need to run on the ios device itself. I have both vshare and appcake on my ipad and they are both next to useless.

/\ True that, I have vShare, AppCake, iPAStore and Zeusmos on my iPhone 5 and they are all next to useless.

I've found Zuesmos to be the better of them on device

vShare is useless imo but appcake works very well why would you say its useless ?

Just a bit poor, numerous dead links, incredibly slow downloads etc. Not the fault of Appcake really, more the hosting sites.

I usually download off piratebay and use iFunbox to transfer the files accross on my kids ipod

Guys have u heard of appaddict? they have an awesome app as well!

I just tried to installed appaddict on my iPad, it wouldn't install and it caused safari & mail to stop working I've got them back now so everything is ok. Maybe it's not compatible with iOS 7

Works fine on ios7 you need to install app sync for iOS 7 first.

Thanks but I'm Not sure if I dare try it now it took me a while to get things working again. I might give it a go when I've got more time.

Is appaddict the best then? Well in my case the question should be, does it work at all as appcake and whatever the other one dont work for me here.

Just installed working fine here!! :)

cant get any of those rapid share links to work in any app, not sure if its the great firewall, but same through my vpn too.

Does anyone know how to get Appaddict to work on IOS 5.1.1? My kids have Ipad 1's which are stuck on IOS 5.1.1 for ever. Or do any of you know if any of the other Installous alternatives still support IOS 5.1.1, I have tried Zeusmos which installs and opens but there are no download links showing up.

Yeah, I've got app cake and vshare on the kids iPad one running 5.1.1.... It asks to update when started up but I just say no and download as normal.
