I havent had an iPhone since the 4, after which I ditched it for android.
I need to source one for my nephew, who is abroad.
Any pointers for where I can buy an unlocked one, aside from the apple store?
Are there any other trustworthy places that sell them unlocked at less than the apple store?
I'm not sure you'll get a discount anywhere except eBay/CEX/Gumtree/Facebook and then you may be taking a risk. Where is he abroad? Aren't they available there? May be cheaper as I think the prices have been adjusted for weak GBP now.
My nephew works for Apple and gets a discount if that helps
