The Belko Experiment
Just watched this and i have to say its probably one of the best things i have seen of late. I like a good horror, thriller, action flick and this ticked a lot of those boxes. It's not a chick flick. It's produced by James Gunn whoever he is. Well he is in fact one of my closet mates. DJ Gunnee, anyway... (Not the same person)
This film features a concept while not 100% original, its new in this format. There's some actors you might recognise and some tasty Chiquitas too. It poses several society issues, and the power struggles of life. While not too complex and heavy, its a good "make you thinker". Who I do that, sort of thing.
A nice, but maybe predictable twist at the end.
Hard to write much more without spoilers, but for those that like social experiment type stories this is worth a watch. Piggsy will like this for sure, based on his comments about the Sleep Experiment.
A pleasing 8/10 for me. Be interested to hear others opinions, to see if I am overly complimentary of it. Rating maybe corrupted a bit by the fact everything out at the moment is crap, even the new tv remakes. Looking at you "the mist".

Cheers for the headsup, I downloaded this a couple of weeks back but have yet to watch. Will move it to the top of the list me thinks.

Re: The Belko Experiment
Just watched and fucking loved it.
Great acting overall, good action, BRUTAL and some good actors that not seen in much else e.g. The doc from Scrubs, among other faces you recognize.
Twists and turns and lines itself up for a sequel, not sure how that would work though but it leaves something just incase they want to I suppose.
Agree on the 8/10
Will be watching again :-)

Re: The Belko Experiment
Watched tonight - I really enjoyed this too, I didn't recognise anyone other than the guy that played Nash in Bosch. Thought the boss looked a bit like Rick Grimes.
Reminded me a little of another movie, I think it was called Circle - mega low budget effort.
Edit - Recognised Darryl's brother too from TWD.
