She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!! :D
As most of you will already know from this thread I crashed my car just over a month ago. Well I picked her up last night and she's looking sweet as!
Still needs to go back to Mitsu for a couple of things....
- Oil Filter Change (got a little damaged in the crash)
- Front drivers side anti-roll bar link
- Front Passenger side air-dam (still not in stock)
- Check the tracking and re-allign if needed
Will be taking it in the end of this week or early next week hopefully. If the air dam will be in stock in the next few days then it will all get done at once, if not the rest will be done and the air dam will get done when it arrives.
Guy I'm dealing with said to call him tomorrow to arrange a time to bring it back. Reason I collected it was that the car is pretty much done and they needed the curtosy car back for another customer.
Before crash....

They've done a good job if I do say so myself. Even hot air vents on the bonnet got resprayed (some of the paint had been taken off from the heat over the years).
Also have my winter tyres & spare set of alloys on it now, the other wheels & tyres are sitting in the garage.
Re: She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!! :D
Glad to see its all sorted - was gutted so see your original crash post.
:)
Re: She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!! :D
Nice! Glad to see its sorted. Just be more careful from now:p
Re: She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!! :D
Nice one mate glad to see you got it back plus you've got some new wheels and tires. I actually prefer those wheels to the original ones which looked like they could have done with a refurbish :) Get some decent pics up in the photo section when you get a chance :)
Re: She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!! :D
Cheers guys! Will try and get some decent pics of it this weekend during the day. It's a pain going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark.
Leaves no time to get any decent pics.

I prefer the white 6 spoke Buddy Clubs to be honest mate. As for the Buddy Clubs needing a refurb, they were in perfect nick when I got the car, but the front passenger side got a little damaged in the crash, nothing major, just a bit of a scuff.
These ones are in worse nick than the Buddy Clubs, but dont care though because they only cost me £116 (£70 + £46 P&P) and will only be used in winter. One single standard Evo V alloy brand new from Mitsu is £400!! I got a full set of 4 for just over 1/4 that.

Nice to see you got her back mate, looks like the did a cracking job as well.
£400 for a single Mitsu Alloy? fuck me, I was tempted by an Evo but if the spares are gonna cost that sort of cash, I best think again!

Mitsu parts are rediculous money mate. The front splitter alone is £440 + VAT + Paint + Fitting, etc! More like £600 - £700 just for a front splitter!!
The standard intercooler is approx £850 + VAT + Fitting, etc, you can get an uprated HKS, Greddy, etc intercooler for £650 and that includes VAT & delivery!

Front passenger air dam due in tomorrow. So she should be going in early next week to finish it all off.
Very glad I got those winter tyres, was VERY, VERY icey this morning, a Yaris infront of me got stuck (just sat spinning its wheels) and turned round on a little up hill bit, but I managed to get up no probs. The rear drivers side wheel lost a bit of traction and spun for about half a rotation then got grip again.
Had I left those other tyres on, then no doubt I would be in a ditch again! Also the road I crashed on was closed this morning when I went passed due to an accident, that road is a death trap at this time of year.
