I'm going to get no where near a 6-pack in a year let alone 6 weeks, but im going to shed the excess fat for you all! :p
Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge
nice one roach.. let the games begin!! :)
Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge
Excellent work Roach, Like said above, Will read the mens health magazine, sort my food habits out and get a pic prepared. This is probably not going to be fun, but hopefully will be well worth it!
Will be gutted if i end up looking like Scott Mills!!
Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge
Roach ...any chance of a linky to your fat burning thread in here?
Also you mention no carbs after 6pm...what are you allowed to eat if anything?
Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge
Fuck all chance of a six pack but desperate to lose a few stone.
Can't find scales so will talk to lady Fred later. Also got loads of beers and bbq food to eat this weekend so will update my post on Monday and commence. I was 16.5 stone when I weighed myself at the start of the year.
Feel free to wank over these lush pics.
Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge
FFS Freddy you need a fucking trim m8!:D:D

Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge
What are the chances of following something like this and getting to a decent shape from 19 stone. I am big and obviously over weight but i am still quite fit, i can cycle till my legs drop off, 25 miles mountain biking 40 miles road biking is not out of the question.
If i could stick to something like this for 6 weeks solid where do you think that i might get....?
Crash

The link's there pal.
"No carbs" in terms of rice or potatoes. All other vegetables are fine; obviously they contain carbs but will do your gut no harm what so ever so eat as many greens etc as you like.
Remember to weigh yourselves at the same time of the day say no more than 3 times a week would be advisable as opposed to every day. Diet and training diaries are a great idea and post in here or pm others to discuss progress, problems, questions etc as it can help with your motivation.
Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge

Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge
FFS got the shock of my life then watching that pic of Freddy loading from top to bottom praying for it to stop, desperately groping around my desk for something to stab my eyes out................

Seriously though come on and get stuck in. No shame here on DF. Everyone's a fukka of the highest, and best, order. Except for that rapidshite thief.
Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge
See this is good, will be a lot easier if we are encouraging each other. I have been trying to lose my gut for ages, following RR instructions I might be able to dust off the speedo's once again :)
Edit: Fu(king hell freddy trim that trouser mustache will u !!!

I reckon you would lose on average between 2 and 4lbs per week so potentially just under 2 stone but the best bit is that it would be pretty much all fat. You will lose some muscle mass but this can be kept to a minimum by doing some weights as well as the large amount of cardio.
Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge
Cheers Roach
Gutted i cannot add a tag for Freddie's trouser tash
Re: The DF 6-Pack Challenge
Sounds tough. Something I would really need to prepare myself for. I'm only a stone or so over anyway, mostly due to beer. Can't do anything for a while as have my summer holiday in two weeks time.
I may well give this a go, maybe start with a slightly lighter regime and build up to it. One question tho, is once you have done your two months, does the weight you've lost etc stay at that level, or are you going to have to keep up more than normal exercise to maintain it?

Most people would do this once a year and every year after the initial regime, the weight and fat will drop off much easier i.e. the longer you carry it around the harder it will be to shift.
