anyone downloaded the IOS version of Movie DB?? concerned there is an icloud email address and password to use

I downloaded the app when it was on the AppStore before it was pulled, but not from the website.
i think it uses the iCloud details to give u access to a “development” app, a bit like TestFlight does.
