what type of round cables m8
IDE
Floppy
Mains
??????????????
PimpMasterT dont think a 72" cable would work with any IDE, Floppy cable connector on a motherboard. The cable is more than double a 28" not sure abotu the technical aspect but the resistance is either greater or lower, i think its lower so the device on the other end wont talk to the motherboard (ide controller) correctly.
Where can u get round IDE and floppy cables?
most computer places now m8
http://www.theoverclockingstore.co.uk/
do free P&P however i think they are a tad bit expensive.
i've seen em on www.overclockers.co.uk and www.theoverclockingstore.co.uk i recommend the over clocking store dont charge u £5 for p&p like overclockers just a little bit more for the goods but still cheaper!! ;)
They work no probs cause right now i got to ide controler cards in my pc and 2 hds connected to me mb and another 3 in another case next to me pc, right now they regular flat ribbon, but i would rather have the rounded cable, don't want to tape or split loom the existing cable
You can also try www.overclock.co.uk and www.coolcasemods.com
Overclock are very quick, although the P&P can sometimes hurt
theres a review of OCS' rounded cables on http://www.pc-arena.net
CCM's ones are also rather good.
ebuyer.com have them for £3
tehy sell em cheaper at the computer shows
