Reminder - Free upgrade to Windows 10 runs out on the 29th July 2016
Most people here know this but just in case someone doesn't or it has slipped their mind I thought I would post a reminder for anyone planning to upgrade their PC or laptop to a genuine version of Windows 10. If you have a genuine copy of windows 7 or 8.1 then you only have until the 29th of July 2016 to claim a free upgrade to Windows 10. After that it will cost you £100.
This is more than a one time upgrade. Once upgraded to Windows 10 Microsoft promise to keep it current for for the supported life of the device - at no cost.
You will initially have to upgrade your current operating system but once activated you can later do a fresh install. For the fresh install make sure you also download a copy of the full installation files by choosing 'create installation media for another PC.

Makes sure you get a backup, just in case.
This is easy simply download the tool and tell it to save for another PC.
3 choices are 64 bit, 32 bit, or both.
Copy to a usb or iso and then if anything goes wrong your safe as your credentials are already stored
unless your installing on a new clean pc that has not already had 10 on it.
