CD Burner Overclocking
A friend of mine on another forum posted this and I wanted to spread the news. Here is the link hxxp://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Articles/Specific.asp?ArticleHeadline=Overclocking&Series=0 . I made my 2 Lite-On 40x's into 48x's for free with the use of a firmware. Later, 4cdwarez/DextersUnderground.

This sounded intersting so I decided to check it out. It seems that the results can be unpredictable. I read this thread below for a while and saw several mentions of coasters coming out, so I decided it wasn't worth it. For anyone who's interseted and can't be arsed to look for it, here is the link to the results discussion :)

Thanx for the link, I didn't want to put a click-able link just in case of forum rules, Thanx also for the forum link I read through and got some intersting info on the subject and noticed most of the unpredictability and coasters were from non 48x capable media. Take care 4cdwarez/DextersUnderground.

Sounds good then, I have to say that I couldn't really be bothered to read the whole discussion thread. In my opinion the jump from 40X to 48X isn't really worth the bother but this is because I've only just made the jump from 8X to 40X. I can now burn a disk in 3 minutes!!!!
