You can try cross referencing:
https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html
https://gosuperfast.campaign.gov.uk/
You may have a local checker, we have this one where you can search your postcode, choose your address, click on the pin on the map and it occasionally gives further info:

Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
Thanks mate, just tried those, first one doesn't find my postcode, second doesn't load a page, and third one doesn't find my postcode!
I guess I'll check back on that site every month or so to see if it's moving along.

You can also try http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/
It's the VDSL date at the bottom on the output that's the important one but mine keeps getting pushed out 6 months. Originally stated Oct 2015 , now saying Dec 2017 and I'm still not hopeful

Thanks for that, doesn't appear to have any VDSL date for mine?

Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
You see the mention of G.fast in the footer. That is the next gen tech BT are pushing out at the end of this year. It is a tech that operates over the existing infrascture that pushes BT current limit (FTTC) of about 120MB to a theoretical 1Gbps.
They have been successfully testing this at 400Mbps.
Anyhow my other observation was NORWICH NORTH....... poor cunt.
As with all new tech they will probably launch at 150Mbps and slowly improve to cream as much out of us as they can.

Ah right, thanks for that!
120Mb, a fucking world away, I'd jump at 20Mbps right now.
Nothing gets past you, Norwich indeed, for next two years, it's like fucking going back in time!

Been trying to find better internet for my older kids who live with the ex (Not a million miles from you actually) They are in rural area and fibre looks like a no go and keep getting bullshitted.
Anyway thanks to advice from EvilSatan have looked into Radio/Wireless options today and it is a real possibility. £25 a month will get you a good 20-30Mbps Up and Down (SDSL) it seems widely available. Waiting to hear back from them if it is available in Rural Suffolk where the skids are but it seemed to cover Norfolk much better.

Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
Ah yes I've heard a bit about that wireless internet, I'll do some reading up further, thanks for the links.
Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
To add do you currently get under 2Mbps ?
If you do you will get a minimum of £350 towards your first years costs of seeking alternative Broadband whether it is Satellite or Radio.
So free installation and a few months free BB. The one for my kids just replied and it is £30 a month for 12Mbps Up/Down so they are more expensive than the Norwich one I saw but they say that is because they are at the limits of receiving from their mast so that is fair enough I suppose. They are literally in the sea. If closer to the mast you can get upto 60Mbps apparently.
Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
A little bit of movement last few weeks, a couple of tall green cabinites have appeared around the corner. These are the same size and shape as others I've seen with "Fibre" stickers on them.
A couple of days ago, they were digging up in front of them as a lad who lives a few doors down says he says it looks like they've connected the power to them. The fibre tracker he reckons is way out of date as this still shows "Field Survey".
Anyone have any experience of how long, once power is connected it takes to get these up and running to accept orders?
Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
Village not far from me had openreach fit the cabinets about 4-6 weeks ago, they are already taking orders.
Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
That's promising.
I've seen them connecting some cables recently, so looks as if power is going to them now, which fits with the tracker.

One lass posted this on a community group that serves our new build area...
So fingers crossed it's quicker than 4 months. I really can't take much more of my 1.5mb line.
Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
Remember Broadband started at 512kbps and we all thought it was amazing. Stop being a greedy cunt and enjoy your porn like its 1999 !!!
Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
I'd be content if the images and video I am trying to watch were essentially big tits and big hairy muff taken on a Nikon D1.
Cunts use UHD video cameras these days, I can count the little plucked chicken like hairs around the fanny flaps.
Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
So after waiting for ages and ages, the fibre tracker shifted to Activate! Oh what a time to be alive.
Last week it then updated to ACCEPTING SUPER FAST ORDERS!
But wait, I now get this!!!! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!!!
https://imgur.com/A57KgHv
Has anyone ever seen/heard of this before?
Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
How far are you from the cabinet? We had this at our old house. Had decent ADSL as not too far from exchange but turns out our cabinet was effectively in the exchange so the fibre upgrade made no real difference.
Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
Few miles away from the exchange I believe. Around 2.7miles!

Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
It's not the exchange you need to worry about with Fibre, it's the cabinet.
Re: Openreach Fibre Tracker
Can you post the results of this:
