What operating system you running? Is the CPU ever stressed or is it just sat there idling?

Win 7, x2 xenon quad core cpus . Plex will take them up to 80 ish when there are 5 or 6 sharing.
It is only when the tv needs to use vpn as my isp is going to start blocking iptv streams apparently.
I thought about getting a cheap ww-drt compatible router and use that instead, if the server is a pain to do.

I've set up a proxy server on my media server to route my fire tv through and works a treat. I think I have used cproxy but can check tomorrow. In kodi I have set a proxy but if your tv doesn't have that option I'm not sure but you may be able to use the local server IP as the gateway, will have to check.
