Someone just gave me a control pad for my pc, the problem is that it is a 15 pin connector, and my pc hasn't got one. I've looked in my manuals and it should be next to where my speakers plug into the souncard, is there any way i can fit a 15 pin port, or is ther an adapter so i can plug it into the usb ports, any help appreciated as i havn't really got much of a clue about these things!
the game port is often found on the soundcard!
if you've not got one you could either...
1. Get a soundcard that has one
2. Just get a USB control pad
cheers matey, as i'm happy with my soundcard it would probably be wiser (cheaper!) to get a usb controller!
Ask your m8 nicely if he's still got the the USB converter - most of the joysticks/pads I've bought came with 1. Other than that U could do the ole swap trick - go buy a Sidewinder from town, open it up for the connector and return the rest of the package hoping they don't notice the missing connector.
