I found it quite funny in points and watchable, it seemed a bit like two separate films/stories without wanting to spoil it as if it was written in two parts by different writers, not a bad film to watch not too deep with a somewhat iffy story line.

I sat and watched this with the missus tonight. Started off good for the first 15mins. Then just.... Wtf?!!! Absolute garbage. Terrible acting. Terrible weird storyline.

Should have been a comedy / thought provoking movie about the issues about downsizing and the world we live in. Just devolved into a strange Vietnamese cleaning lady end of the world fest. I usually like matt Damon but his performance was mediocre at best.

Was really looking forward to this... Shame

Well we sat and watched this last night and I laughed well chuckled a fair bit at parts.
Sadly at the end we both looked at each other and just had a look of oh ok!

It was a fairly good film and I was enjoying it right up until they made the trip to Norway.
thats where the storyline died for me.

would I recommend it? Yes
would I watch it again? Probably not

Im a Matt Damon fan so I enjoyed it because he was in it, If it was any other actor the film would have been shite.

Watched this Saturday night, was really disappointed with it, think I only had a good laugh at 1 point and apart from that I felt the film didnt really know what it wanted to be.
Such a good premise, I was hoping for something a bit more Honey I Shrunk the Kids but the adult version.
I would give it 4/10

It could have been so much better and as people said the end was WTF ..had loads of promise but just did not deliver

I was let down too, the advert looked like a comedy with a bit of an uplifting storyline but it just had an identity crisis. Should have stuck with the comedy element. Did anyone else find the accent really annoying?? Every now and then had a Deep South twang to it like Texas/Alabama.

Can't believe the quality of actors they got too, Matt Damon, Christopher Waltz etc.

Just finished watching it, was curious and had very low expectations after reading the reviews here so wasn't expecting anything decent.

I didn't mind it tbh, not something I would watch again or recommend to anyone to watch but not upset I'll never get those hours back in my life.

Taking away the miniature aspect of the story it kinda reminded me of 'The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty' where it seemed a bit lost in direction and sort of plods along.

One to miss then. Haven't got time in my life these days to put the effort in for shite movies. On to the next (whenever I decent movie will come).
