My view is Clinton, seems to have been the most diplomatic and at least made some effort toward a peace treaty in the middle east.Meanwhile back at the oil field Bush can't even string a sentence together.

Nice one abarth, nice to see clinton shining at 182, just had to post the results:
Report: President Bush Has Lowest IQ of All Presidents of Past 50 Years
147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D)
132 Harry Truman (D)
122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R)
174 John F. Kennedy (D)
126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D)
155 Richard M. Nixon (R)
121 Gerald Ford (R)
175 James E. Carter (D)
105 Ronald Reagan (R)
098 George HW Bush (R)
182 William J. Clinton (D)
091 George W. Bush (R)
The six Republican presidents of the past 50 years had an average IQ of 115.5, with President Nixon having the highest IQ, at 155.
President G. W. Bush was rated the lowest of all the Republicans with an IQ of 91. The six Democrat presidents had IQs with an average of 156, with President Clinton having the highest IQ, at 182. President Lyndon B. Johnson was rated the lowest of all the Democrats with an IQ of 126.
No president other than Carter (D) has released his actual IQ, 176.
Among comments made concerning the specific testing of President G. W. Bush, his low ratings were due to his apparent difficulty to command the English language in public statements, his limited use of vocabulary (6,500 words for Bush versus an average of 11,000 words for other presidents), his lack of scholarly achievements other than a basic MBA, and an absence of any body of work which could be studied on an intellectual basis. The complete report documents the methods and procedures used to arrive at these ratings, including depth of sentence structure and voice stress confidence analysis.
"All the Presidents prior to George W. Bush had a least one book under their belt, and most had written several white papers during their education or early careers. Not so with President Bush," Dr. Lovenstein said. "He has no published works or writings, so in many ways that made it more difficult to arrive at an assessment. We had to rely more heavily on transcripts of his unscripted public speaking."
The Lovenstein Institute of Scranton, Pennsylvania, think-tank includes high-caliber historians, psychiatrists, sociologists, scientists in human behavior, and psychologists. Among their ranks are Dr. Werner R. Lovenstein, world-renowned sociologist, and Professor Patricia F. Dilliams, a world-respected psychiatrist.
This study was commissioned on February 13, 2001, and released on July 9, 2001, to subscribing member universities and organizations within the education community.
Now that makes sense!.
to be honest i'd say regan was about the best american president, wether by luck or good management who knows? but he did a llot to restore pride in the american people, he took shit from no one, he ended the cold war by spending money not only on ne weapons, but also using movie techniques to make the russians think he had all sorts of new super weapons that they simply couldnt afford to compete with still think that was a clever move), his gaffes were mostly fairly minor and just helped lend a human edge to his presidency.
just my thoughts
Just in case Dubya's IQ is in doubt ,a few of my favourite
"Bushisms"-
"Natural gas is hemispheric. I like to call it hemispheric in nature because it is a product that we can find in our neighborhoods."
"I knew it might put him in an awkward position that we had a discussion before finality has finally happened in this presidential race."
"Drug therapies are replacing a lot of medicines as we used to
know it."
"...more and more of our imports are coming from overseas."
"It's clearly a budget. It's got a lot of numbers in it."
''I know what I believe. I will continue to articulate what I believe and what I believe—I believe what I believe is right."
"We spent a lot of time talking about Africa, as we should. Africa is a nation that suffers from incredible disease."
"They misunderestimated me."
"I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family."
"Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?"
"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."
Did you take a look at the poll?
Would you be surprised to learn that G.W. Bush has a lower IQ than previous presidents?

No. (11982)

for those with even an average IQ and are blessed with basic reading skills and a couple of working brain cells Id like to ask who this is then ?
174 John F. Kennedy (D)
In my eyes Ronald Bomb the bast@rds Reagen was the best and his IC wasnt anything to write home about either.
Im by no means a bush fan as he is far too indecisive in my opinion . If your gonna hit someone then you dont tell them about it months in advance do you ?:rolls:
My personal opinion is he should not be sitting where he is anyway as Al Gore definately had more votes than him but somehow in America they have a voting system that allows people to be elected with less votes than thier oponents but thats another story.
I wouldn't think so given that he only just scraped fixing getting in.:bleh:
this sums it up:
"There is one word about the duties of a Governor. That one word is 'to be prepared'" :D
