Cheers mate, I've done a search on a few sites like that.
I'm after peoples first hand opinions, ie people who've stayed there or are locals.
I've stayed at that Holiday Inn Greenwich before when I was at the o2. It's walking distance to the venue but they'll still do cabs if needed (the birds I was with wouldn't walk due to their heels!!)
It's a decent enough hotel and breakfast was mega the morning after!
It had a decent onsite car park too - it's where I'll be staying for all future o2 trips if I can!
Just checked my old mails and it cost me £64 for a double last time - can't argue with that in London!
Nice one mate I'll take a look:)
Did u go anywhere afterwards? Are there any bars clubs in the immediate area?
To be honest mate I got pissed as a fart at the o2 so went straight back to the hotel with the lass at 3am! We'd gone down for a Ferry album launch in the indigo2.
Depending on what time you finish there are some bars and restaurants in the o2 that might still be open (they'll be rammed beforehand) - there was a club, Matter, but I think that's shut at the moment due to cashflow issues. Saying that it might be open again by the time you're down there? Saying that this doesn't bode well - http://www.matterlondon.com/calendar/2010/10/
Apart from that in all fairness I can't remember there being a great deal to do at night time - there was a Sainsburys and Nandos and stuff just down from the hotel and then there's a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel but that was about it.
If you're after somewhere afterwards in all fairness I'd recommend going into London centre a bit more mate? Think MOS has pretty late entry times on Fridays and Saturdays?
Lol tbh I probs won't make it past the event either:-/ but there's always hope;)
Mos sounds good I'll have a google!
It's usually housey type stuff there on a Saturday night mate, not sure of the dress code though as I only ever go on a Friday for the Gallery and that's pretty much anything goes :)
Greenwich is not a late night town, head for the West End.
