Is the Apple TV 3 jailbreakable yet?

I have seen several videos online of the apple tv3 being jail broken but can't find any solid evidence that it is actually possible.

I have an atv3 sat in the cupboard for well over a year not being used.
seems a shame as it cost £100

I don't think there will be one tbh, unless a newbie to the scene wants to make a name for themself. Been out so long and the teams seem to be focusing on the mobile market, haven't heard of a baseband exploit for a while either!

Is the ATV2 still sought after? At one point they were going for silly money, but with the influx of Android Boxes has it devalued the ATV?

I've got an ATV3 and it's not jailbreakable at the moment. Loads of rumours and fakes about but I can't see it happening.

You can however side load Plex on to it:) which it what mine is used for. Netflix is on it as is a few other apps that maybe of use.

ATV2's still go for a decent amount afaik.

ATV2 can go for silly money on eBay. I put an old one on that I'd had for 2-3 years and someone offered to pick up and give me cash £100. I was happy with that so took the money and bought a zgemma. Might pick up a Fire Stick on the Amazon Prime deals.

Flipping heck I sold mine for £220 about two years ago they must dropped right down since increase in android boxes

I think the fact that they are only 720p goes against them now. I use the Amazon Fire TV and its flawless with streaming through Kodi. Was easier to do than Apple TV 2 also as no jailbreak was needed.

still using my atv2 and love it but noticed that kodi have said there not supporting it after 13.1 i think it was, so im just gonna upgrade to a mx8 quad box when needed

Yeah I may have been able to get a bit more for it but hey cash in hand with no fees! I think since android boxes the prices have dropped a fair bit. Mind you I never used it so it was cash sitting there!
