Re: After a favour pi2 image
May I suggest that you use openelec instated? The have ready to go images then just load on ur repos as usual. But to be honest when I was using a pi (1?) for such things it wasn't the greatest. Chop it in and get a dedicated media box, rpi's are educational boxes. Whilst they do a lot of things, they don't do any one thing that well IMO.

That's what I'm using :(
i have a pi (1) and that is too slow but the pi2 is supposed to be fine for running kodi.

Don't want to teach granny to suck eggs etc but have you checked your power supply is kicking out enough juice/stable?

Yes it's a nice big one ;)
without looking I think it's 5 volt 4 amps max, so should be more than enough to cope.
Re: After a favour pi2 image
When I got my pi2 a few months back I opted for OSMC and just put that on the card and it booted right up. It's a fine buy for kodi viewing moving on from a ATV2. Give that a try
Re: After a favour pi2 image
In that case I'll keep quiet you'd be surprised how much trouble psu's close/on the required stats cause.
Re: After a favour pi2 image
If you want, due to employment circumstances (could change rapidly) would be happy to (try) build a setup for you if you want to send the card - happy to send the card back at any point (working or not) but would give me something to do atm other than learn Python which I keep putting off.
Re: After a favour pi2 image
Teajunkie, my Kodi is the dogs danglies if I do say so myself - IPTV, Genesis TV Series, Genesis Movies, YouTube, iPlayer, ITV player.
I'll do a YT video if you like so you can see it in action.
Re: After a favour pi2 image
I would like to see a video if you don't mind. I'm just getting to grips with mine but you always see what's achieve able when you see someone else's set-up. IPTV is new to me. Just found this link in YouTube about something called IPTV Stalker by some Yankee gangsta! Funny to listen to http://youtu.be/sB1kor6fKkc
Re: After a favour pi2 image
OK, its late now but I'll pop one up in the morning.
JoeNobody is very funny, he's been on my sub list for a few months now. Some good info there.

OK, imaging now. I'll PM you later with the details :)
Re: After a favour pi2 image
My Kodi was working fine until a couple of weeks back, now IPTV Stalker is not working.
Any work arounds, I read somewhere it was due to MAC address,
Everything else working fine, Genesis Phoenix etc, but not IPTV
Any advice appreciated
Re: After a favour pi2 image
i think we have seen the end of iptv stalker paid subs
there are a few workarounds but none of them seem to last long.
you could try ccloud simler to iptv stalker its in podgpds repo https://seo-michael.co.uk/tutorial-h...ive-kodi-xbmc/
Re: After a favour pi2 image
IPTV Stalker is now a pay service - the free service for IPTV Stalker is gone. The MAC address fixes no longer work, forget it.
http://www.husham.com/iptv-stalker-t...tv-free-trial/
It's now $80. Fucking rip-off seeing as how they are leeching the TV channels themselves.
Re: After a favour pi2 image
PM sent TJ. Let me know how you get on.
Re: After a favour pi2 image
The Kodi you are using Crazyal looks ideal for a pick-up and play solution that even my missus could use. Is everything else hidden? I have the menu system running across the centre and all the program folders running off them. Do you use Genesis only for videos? I have Salts and Pheonix too and would miss them in your set-up.
