patch_mp.ff is different from server MW3

i have played online tonight a few games on PC, went into a new game & this pops up (patch_mp.ff is different from server)
i cant get on & not much info out on the web, fixes are out on mw2
need help

Also if you got it on steam try deleting the patch from the folder its located in and then verify integrity of game cache and this should redownload the patch.

it turns out it was steam.it did an update but if you where playing at the time of the update as i was it gave the error. so i restarted steam & pc it sorted it .
