Are my pictures too big? I've noticed people using thumbnail pics?
sorry if they are
Re: any green lainers in here?
Hi
I am an oldy now m8 but I used to have a Bultaco 250cc Sherpa (gears on the wrong side etc) and it would go anywhere, wheelie like a mofo and was instrimental in several hospital visits (Broken rib, broken collar bone etc). I loved it.
about ten years ago, I am embarrased to say, I bought a NC24 VFR400 to mess around on and did forty miles on it before accepting I was not the man I once was and petrified, said VFR has sat in the garage on a Sorn ever since lol.
great photos mi8

Re: any green lainers in here?
That is a shame mate them vfr400 are nice bikes-is the one you have the one with 2 circle headlights?
i have used my cbt for trying different styles of bikes so I know what I want for my step up.
tried the aprilia 125 factory full power and I had 100mph out of it little flying machine that's not my style I like the enduro sit up bikes tourers etc these face down knee out bikes are not suitable for me!
my pal has a ducati evo 848 in red and white what a cracking looking bike but I can't ride them

Hi
two headlights is the NC30, mine is NC24, google it, sounds and rides like a 2 stroke but its a 4 stroke, redlines at 14,000 with gear driven cams and you got to ride it hard, good for 130+mph - pocket rocket.

Re: any green lainers in here?
Yes the gear driven cam is a iconic engine-has a whine about it...
i love the look of the nc30, you should get your arse back in the saddle pal just take it easy.
saying that it's hard to go easy isn't it.
ive had a few frights

Re: any green lainers in here?
not so much green laning but more field/motorcross riding - every couple of weeks me and a few mates rock up to waddon mx near milton keynes with a few off roaders (various capacity 2 & 4 stroke's we have collected over the years)
my own workhorse is an aprilia caponord fitted with a tuned rsv mille engine with custom mapping
my toy is a very customised 2003 kawasaki z1000 running dry shot nitrous oxide
the wife has a very mint suzuki SV1000s and a spectacular GSF1200 bandit streetfighter
oh, BTW - im still a fully qualified motorcycle riding instructor and run my own school part time, any questions - fire away m8

Its the only way to let your hair down when I'm out on the lanes everything that's going on in my life goes to the back of my mind, it's really hard work sometimes and these bigger 4 strokes can't keep up with me-I think the sweet spot is a 250 2 smoker.
light as anything with a very decent power delivery!
Your bike sounds awesome but prob well beyond my capacity, personally I don't think I would go past 450cc unless I get a decent tourer!
ive been on the road for only 1 year and the amount of people pulling out in front of me is unreal-them big tnt wagons the lot
its getting very dangerous on 2 wheels with more and more cars on roads these days

Re: any green lainers in here?
Always been into bikes not road bikes just off road, nothing beats the near death experiences you can have in a fast two stroke.
Re: any green lainers in here?
There an absolute blast!!
been looking at the cr500 for something to rip my arms out of there sockets lol
mx sprocket ratio on a cr 500 must be phenomenal.
