could anyone help me with changing the factory ringtones on a 8250 ive used flashtone 2.05 and they sound rubbish and most of the notes are missing and ive tried ringtonemanager and it just does two beeps for a tone if anyone could help me i would be very greatful and also which program to use

The reason they sound rubbish is because you are using the cracked free version;)
The most recent version is crystal clear Flashtone 2.09 [correct me if wrong rude] only problem is its going to cost you £10 from the maker:)

2.10 is latest Tom.;) And it's £10 from the cracker, Cyber. A bit more from the maker.
There is another way to change the tones, using an RTTL to .RE convertor and then PPM Manager, but this isn't suggested unless you know what you're doing.

rude i got it sorted i made a boo boo with the rtttl to re converter i had all the id`s the same as a preset tone i used ringtoneman to change the tones as i can`t get ppmmanager to accept the tones anyway it`s working a treat all the tones sound how they should :D
