I hope (obviously we all do) you'll soon get the treatment you need and reduce that anxiety. Good work on going and getting diagnosed.

Hi m8,
Not the same position but been in a similar position a couple of years back (kept in the stroke ward with suspected TIA, in the end after days of tests it turned out to be a severe migraine - something I've never had before). So I "slightly" know what your going through m8 and obviously wish you the very best of luck and hope you make a full recovery.
If Over Carl has been diagnosed with brain damage for talking a bit of gibberish, the rest of you are fucked!
The NHS gets some bad press sometimes but it still is one of the best health services.
Thoughts are with you.
Fingers crossed for ya m8.
Pleased to hear you're not just hoping for the best like many guys do and got yourself to the hospital in a timely fashion to let the experts do their thing. Shouldn't be long before you get some answers and a course of action now.
Only just seen this, hope all turns out ok.
Dont really know ya but hope the news is good news for ya. Keep positive cos from experience with family that can make a huge difference.
Dont give up !!!!!!

im having huge problems with back and legs at moment but nothing compared to this, keep strong mate
Hey Carl I been reading your forum output closely this week and see no sign of you posting gibberish. Though I'm not sure about some of the others here!
Hope your getting fettled m8 !
How are things, Carl?
My case was discussed at a couple of multi disciplinary meetings at Queens Square but they still aren't sure. Got to go to Gt Ormond on the 2nd as an outpatient, looks like they haven't forgotten about me and need to do some more tests.
I'm ok, but the tablets are making me a bit loopy. Finding it hard to focus and concentrate often, don't sleep much, but happy to be alive and be able to enjoy the little things in life rather than running round like a mad man all day.
I haven't really been the same since, but fortuneately it seems to be more of a side effect of the tablets rather than a permanent change due to the still undetermined event.
Hope it all goes ok mate, at least they are persisting with it and will hopefully get to the bottom of it for you.
Ditto what Evil says mate. :cool2:
Glad you're getting sorted Carlover. Stay positive.
Wishing you all the best and hopefully the outcome will be fine.
Definitely get it checked out.
I had an army reunion a few weeks back and one of my mates told me he experienced similar and went to the doctor. It turned out he has early signs of dementia! He's only 49!
Always best to get these things checked out.
I wish you a full and speedy recovery Rob. If anyone can assist you in anyway at all please just shout.
