forgot to say its a V series
V Series Ford radios have to either be read by an eeprom reader to generate the code or the code be retrieved from the Ford Dealership Database.
eBay sellers have access to the Ford database usually and require the serial and the registration plate for the car.
Call the local Fords dealership. Ask for the parts department and ask the dude on the back desk if he can do it for you. If not, should be a couple of quid on eBay.
You mention to the receptionist a Radio Code, they'll put you through to sales = £15.
Going through to Parts there is a chance the fella on the back desk may do it for free.
My dad used to work on the parts back desk at a dealership and always decoded for free. He hated the fact Ford's safeguarded the information for ransom when it is so freely available for a few quid on eBay.
