Amazon payments for new website
I was looking at amazon payments for merchants but you have to have a uk registered business.
Im opening a new website soon and want something cheaper than PayPal.
Im not looking for full time monthly outlays like payment gateways as it may not be successful but similar to PayPal would be great.
so do I need to register as a business somewhere?
or can I just use my personal details?
Re: Amazon payments for new website
Have you looked at izettle? I know they have ok rates?
Re: Amazon payments for new website
i have an izettle card machine. rates are ok but the cardholder has to be present, you cant key in a card details which is a real shame.
Re: Amazon payments for new website
I have an Izettle card machine already.
I need a cheap non contract means of taking payments that's not PayPal.
i already know about skrill and paysafe etc so the next option was amazon payments which most people will trust.
Re: Amazon payments for new website
Do you mean to take payments via a website? If so PayPal or WorldPay are the two biggies that everyone trusts.
To be fair you say you don't like the PayPal charges but they aren't that bad and if you have a low volume of transactions may work out more cost effective.
I use PayPal for my Bouncy Castle business. The readers are pretty good with PayPal Here. a few percent I wasn't too worried about as there was only one or two transactions a month so a couple of quid here and there was fine to pay by me. No contract etc. Other than the cost of the reader (Which you don't actually need) there is no outlay.
