FFS Now my spare has a RRoD
Days after my first 360 got an E74 I now have a RRoD on my spare 360. Now this 360 is one of the £35 360s that I fixed. The only issue I had to fix was the DVD drive originally. I noticed when playing COD4 yesterday that the fans were getting louder and louder but didn't think anything of it. Now today my lad came downstairs and switched it on only for it to flash the 3 red lights. I can't send it back as it's out of warranty and registered to someone else.
Anyway of extending the life of it till Christmas is over?

I think your best bet for a quick fix m8 would be the xecutor kit from ShopNeo.

Just ordered with next day delivery. Didn't someone on here do xclamp kits too?

Hahaha, I just unplugged every thing and plugged it back in and the things working. I had unplugged it last night to show my mate the 1 red lighter as the fucker didn't believe me. I'm sure it's done this before where I had to unplug and plug it back in to get it working. I've just got up so I didn't think and immediately thought it was fucked. Ah well, a RRoD kit and some verbs on their way from shopneo. My lad is well chuffed.

yea i do them i use only stainless steel and alenkey headed bolts so no sliping and low clerance and if you want you can drill out the bottom of the case with a 3mm drill and undo the bolts with out removing the hole mother board aging (we have all had problem ones that need more or less preshur put on them) but i dont have any artic silver paste but i do have some good silicone stuff (witch ive had no problems with unlike the fake artic silver cra* i got for ebay one)
