If your stopped by the law and they find it, it will be classed as an "Offensive weapon" unless you have a legitimate reason for carrying it, saying that you have it for self-defence ISN'T a legit' reason.
so whats the best way of getting off if stopped?
I have a night stick that I got from South Africa in my car, if I ever got stopped I would probably make up some b/s excuse that my starter motor is fcuked and I needed a sturdy object to hit it with to get it going.
But I am not sure how well that would stand up in court lol.
Best if you DONT have it with you m8.;)Quote:

Well I got done for carrying an offensive weapon, it was two pieces of brush handle tied with a piece if string. I got 12 monthsconditional whatever for it. Fcuking Laws they are the pits.
I drive a taxi at the weekend so the police do not stop taxis at the weekend at midnight we take the drunks home and get them of the roads
I will only take it out of my car if i think my life is in any danger :(
well my mates a cabby and carrys a knuckle duster on him and also has a cosh in the door he's been stopped by the police when not working and thay didnt say a word about the two items
Then your mate has been lucky, maybe another copper would report him for it, good luck to your mate though, for getting away with it.Quote:

your m8 is very lucky to be out on the streets
Forget about the steel stick m8...
Buy yourself a good sturdy wheel brace.... Great for smacking some thieving scum plus the police can't do you for having it.
buy a shatter hammer from halfords
you can have them in ya car thats wot i have because it had a seat belt cutter on it co the pigs cant say sh1t
make some sort of pouch under the driver seat so you can quickly pull it out and hide it away, they will never look under the seat
question,
how many ppl just driving along get pulled over by the police to serach there car?
u would either have to be driving to fast to crap ie drunk or waveing it out of the car shouting all sorts of shit
just carry a toolbox around (good advice) most can fit at the passangers feet and have a long socket set in it that will knock n e 1 back and if police do stop u they gonna say oi u cant carry a toolbox around.....if they do say go stop every AA van ?
or if need to (use as a last resorted )use the stick on the coppers then drive like fuk!
if it solid steel, get a wheelbrace that it fits into then its ok to have it as its to give extra leverage to loosten the wheelnuts :)
of course you dont keep it in the boot as it would roll about and could damage somenes luggage ;)
Youll really get fekd for that, if they find it.Quote:
