Taking parents away for weekend getaway, advice?
Planning on taking my parents away in November for their anniversary, no where spectacular but would be good to spend some time with them over a long weekend.
Any advice on any of these destinations in November? They are the cheapest flights from Skyscanner, not looked at specific dates yet. I was thinking perhaps Iceland to try and see Northern Lights and go to the Blue Lagoon, Dublin just because we haven't been, if not perhaps Eastern Europe if anyone had recommendations.

Iceland is very very expensive
I love Portugal, the food there is very good

I've not been , but I've had Warsaw highly recommended. Loads to see and cheap as chips. Might be a bit chilly though!

Morocco will still be nice and warm in Nov for the oldies. Do they like a nice Tagine though. The cuisine isn't spicy but is full of flavour and some old school types might not like the grub.
Personally love it though. Stunning place, to me top food, some brilliant hotels e.t.c and nice ancient places to visit.
Only issue might be flight times, I really cant remember how long they were.

Mum loves Moroccan food :) They're about 60 so not too old yet.

Good option then... failing that it is a shame there are no flights to Croatia . Might not be all that warm, but stunning and cheap and quick flights. Very stunning city walls/ramparts etc

I can look for flights there too. One option ATM is Berlin, end of November, visit Tropical Island (which looks epic) and go to the Christmas markets.
Tropical island would be like a throwback as when I was younger they took me to a German/Dutch water park (Duinrell maybe). Check this out: https://www.tropical-islands.de/en/t...l-attractions/

Settled on Budapest for the Christmas markets, got an amazing apartment on airbnb for peanuts!

I got another bargain in Barcelona a couple of years ago on airbnb so recommend it highly, also booked some other places on there for later this year.
