Image Restoration Service - Free to DF members
Afternoon all,
i'm taking a hobbie and attempting to turn it into a lucrative side line for me.
I've only done this for a few friends and family so far but all have liked the results....and I need to increase my portfolio before I start charging.
So if you (or family) have old photo's that hold fond memories but maybe torn or scratched from years of neglect, let me know and I'll make them nice and pretty again.
Only image restoration at the minute, not colour addition.
Of course you'll have to hi-res scan in colour (even if B&W photo) and email me at bugnote at gmail dot com with a description of what you would like to achieve.
I can't see that any mods would have a problem with this, but should you, please feel free to remove.
Cheers
Bug

If that's typical of your output, then you'll soon be rich mate. Nice one, and thanks for the offer.

1 used to do that all the time, 1 thing to look out for is clone repetition as its to easy to lose texture detail and end with a cloned pattern that is kinda distracting
Re: Image Restoration Service - Free to DF members
Nice offer :) have some karma
Re: Image Restoration Service - Free to DF members
Sticky'd for a while.
It would be nice to see the before and after images posted in this thread if possible, rather than all going via email.
Re: Image Restoration Service - Free to DF members
Great offer m8. :) Karma'd.
Re: Image Restoration Service - Free to DF members
glad everyone likes the idea, I can't put timescales on turnaround at the minute as this is a side project for me, but, unless I have a massive response I'll be able to fix all of them.
I also appreciate that there are many photoshop experts on these forums and by offering this service for a while to get my portfolio increased I am in no way professing to be better than anyone else or anything like that. (just wanted to add that in the mix)
so come on guys, get me you knackered photo's! (pongo aside that is)

no probs will remove and get back to you
Re: Image Restoration Service - Free to DF members
Did you have a go with Pongo's image ?
Re: Image Restoration Service - Free to DF members
yeah, just working on the sun damage, it may have to be a crop as there is no data in the bottom half....www.bangela.plus.com/df for the updates
Re: Image Restoration Service - Free to DF members
the pongo image needs alot of air brushing. Once you build up a portfolio you will also collect images that may contain useful ellements you can use in other photos, to aid fixing them, fabrics etc. Even go out and photo stuff in diffrent lighting so you can use that for cloning onto totally destroyed areas that require detail and lines. I had a dick about with pongo's image. It gets to thje point were it starts to look false though.

A tee shirt texture would have come in really handy :)
