Xbox Live Buying Digital Game copies from third party

Hi guys, I'm about to purchase an XBOX One S and have already arranged with my nephew in the UK to share accounts so we can share our digital libraries and XBOX Live account.

I have a question though regarding the purchase of Digital games from a 3rd party like cdkeys .com

I've read that some of these companies give you the actual game key which is all fine and dandy but others give you the credentials to an account that has the game on it.

Since I'm already going to be sharing my XBOX will adding these extra accounts cause an issue? Will I be using up one of the 3 allowed changes to "Home" XBOX by adding these accounts?

Do any of you have experience of buying digital games from a 3rd party?

    Thanks for your time.

I have bought games from 3rd parties mate, never had a problem, all the ones i purchased sent me the digital code for the game in email and its a one time code, no account sharing
CDKeys is somewhere i have purchased from in the past with no problems

And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

I read somewhere you sign in, download the game, set as home xbox and delete the original xbox account and anyone on that console can play it but it's not tied to an account anymore. signing into another xbox and doing the same process will use up another home activation so be careful

Another way to save money is to buy from foreign xbox stores which can be a lot cheaper than the UK one.

Check first though as some are now locked. A good place to start is

    www.digitalgamesprices.com

This shows you the cheapest prices in the xbox stores around the world.

    Thanks to Gunnzie

The 3 changes is per account NOT per xbox.

So just make sure you don't change the account home xbox too many times.
Also it is 3 changes per year not per lifetime.

Also if like me you accidentally hit the change limit, I went on chat with xbox live, said "WTF my account got hacked and someone tried to take me games, I have changed the passwords, recovery etc, please can you reset my change limit"
Have never had them refuse. They don't even argue to toss.

    Enjoy
