So there have been ads all over the tv for the new series of 24!
Are they desperate?
I dont think there will be as much hype about this now they have changed the cast.
i never watched a single episode of the original but I know my folks will be upset by this.

Not seen a single advert. As a massive fan of 24 I am not impressed about a cast change so might not even bother :-(

The initial few series were brilliant but it got really tired towards the end. There's no way I would have missed an episode in the early years but I don't think I watched all of the last 2 series.
It would need a serious makeover to interest me now.

yeah it was 12 episodes instead of the usual 24 or something, dont think we got all the way through it

Quite a few good characters really. Some you hated but they really did play the part well.
eg I fucking hated Sherry Palmer and she played the part so well I sometimes didn't know if I hated Sherry Palmer or the Actress.

I never watched 24 when it was on originally so watched it all a couple of years ago and loved it.... well apart from the very last series in the UK.
Legacy with the cast change doesn't interest me at all, cash cow as already mentioned.
