    Default TV Audio Sender/Receiver

My nan is 92 years young and almost stone deaf.

She asked me see if I can sort out a way she can hear her TV in her bedroom without 'pissing off the neighbours'.

Usually, she's at max volume and can just about make it out. If a speaker was on her bedside drawers, it'd be far better for her.

Is the something we can plug into the headphone jack (it's an old TV) and Bluetooth the sound to a set of speakers closer to her dodgy ears?

I've searched, but not exactly sure of the name of the device I'm looking for.

Bluetooth 3.5mm jack sender/receiver speaker set!?
    I dunno.

Come on guys, 92 Year old Granny is not going to be able to cope with sorting that lot out, sure you can set it up for her but we all know these things are a pain
in the butt and you have to go through all the shit when it suddenly stops working, pairing issues, is it powered/plugged in etc .......... Wouldn't a much better solution
be a long audio lead plugged into a stand alone speaker?

    Thanks to Lestronics

Yep - that's the route I'd go down too.

There's proper device that plugs into the TV and then broadcasts to a hearing aid, (if she uses them.)

I have a Customer who has one. Works really well, he can sit there with it as loud as he likes in his hearing aid and his wife doesn't have to hear it if she's doing something else.

I'll try to find out what its called.

    Edit: something like this http://www.hearingdirect.com/product...VvAaAm9U8P8HAQ
