Info need help from anyone high up in BT or openreach!

I used uswitch to transfer from talktalk to bt around 4 weeks ago now, and on my activation date they found out that there were no spare ports so I had to wait, finally my phone went live this Monday - 10 days after the initial date. but no broadband

every time I ring them I'm getting a runaround, they are not telling me anything and I'm now getting proper pissed off and have contacted bbc watchdog regarding this.

I rang them today and they have now said that they will update me on the 21st of this month as to when it will hopefully be resolved, this is a proper piss take, over a month since switching with no broadband at all. lied to when I ring customer service and put through to god knows where in the world.

does anyone have the home details of the bt chairman or openreach chairman because I'm now fed up. ive had no broadband for weeks, and I'm desperate to finish a website off for teajunkie but I'm having to use a dongle atm which is costing me a fuckinbbg fortune.

any help greatly appreciated, if anyone works for bt and can find out the truth id be ever so grateful.

Also I have found if you tweet @BTCare then you tend to go straight to second level support, I do this each time the script 'techs' in the foreign Call centres fail to help and in major cases like yours I use CEO mail and they tend to take it seriously. Ive heard that BT are starting to move all their call centres back to the UK and Ireland.

    Another one for CEOEmail.

Have used them successfully a number of times. The only CEO that couldn't give a shit was the one from Currys.... cunt
As above too a quick tweet takes seconds

Not just myself who has had a bad experience with BT. Took me about 4 months to get things right after a dozen technical logs etc. Their promotion offers are a right ball ache to get right too! Not what you'd expect from them!

    Good luck

I just resolved a rather lengthy problem in the space of a week by using ceoemail

    peter.corney@bt.com

He took personal control of my account and it was up and sorted within a week

If you get a 3 PAYG SIM, you can get addons that give you lots of data for a month at a reasonable price.

Was about to say exactly that. You could have it cracked erm I mean borrowed by the morning if you leave the scan running overnight.

Either that or do you get on well with your neighbours ??? A proper borrow if you like.

im still waiting, apparently they are waiting for something called ROSE now, and have given the new date as the 2nd, its now taking the piss because its been 6 fucking weeks, no internet and ive had to buy an o2 dongle which eats data like a fat fucker in a free sweet shop
its made it worse as I have a couple of projects on the go, one of them for teajunkie which I cannot finish till I go live. does anyone here work for bt that can look into this for me or even openreach and find out the truth

No fucking way mate.... I co wrote that software. It stands for Routing Of Simple Exchange Lines. I can tell you one thing, there is no reason they cant speed up that date. ROSE is purely software and nothing physical occurs. Something physical may need to happen but they are not waiting on a fucking computer program to run. It basically works out the shortest route using existing cables to route your line from BT to your house and activates it and or gives instructions for an engineer to do something if no capacity is available basically.

May have changed a bit since I left BT but not by a lot I cant imagine.

    Thanks to piggzy

I do work for bt mate. Sorry I can't really help though I am afraid I only deal with recontracts so wouldn't like to say what is happening but email the address given further up and they will definitely get it sorted out quickly.

    Thanks to trueblue924
