Dual video stream viewer/editor (from dashcam)

Hi all, I have a bmw advanced car eye dash cam that records front and rear. The problem I am having is that it records both streams into one avi file and the only software I can view both streams on is the software provided with the camera. Windows media player and vlc both play the file but only show the front facing camera. VLC on android plays the front camera but sometimes randomly plays the rear camera. Is there any players out there that play dual stream avi's correctly or can separate the avi into 2 files that will play in any player?

I used that and it did work fine in Windows 7. Since then I've bought a new computer with Windows 10 and when it splits the files neither will play in media player or vlc.
