    Default Top Gear Season 24

Headed up by Matt Le Blanc, started this evening without the Ginger Tosser! A step up I guess.

Long way to go to catch up The Grand Tour, but we'll see how it goes. Not seen it myself, but it's now out there in the wild!

Was ok as TG goes. Don't like the 2 stooges that mat had to tag along with him. Still it was better than last seasons ginger fuuckup. Still Grand Tour is way better now as they can get away with a few things the BBC wouldn't in a million years let pass.

There is still hope Top Gear will improve over the season

    Not having it at all.

its just not Top Gear, i dont understand why they dont give it a new title and start from fresh. If anything, calling it Top Gear is a massive hindrance.

nope I wouldnt bother, it was as bad as people are saying
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

Still the same format though - 3 Amigos taking the piss out of each other and enjoying cars and adventures that 99% of viewers will never get near.

Quite enjoyed it. Much, much better than last series, and I thought on par with the GT.
I skipped through the guest bit thinking it was just the same old star in a car slot but got the impression they do the news mixed in with the guest which adds to the refresh. Couldn't be arsed rewinding iplayer to be sure though.

i actually enjoyed yesterday ep, i think the prop racer bloke needs to reign it in a bit when putting down celebs with their driving but other than that it was pretty decent

I actually enjoyed the new top gear. Much better than last year and I think they've learned from their mistakes. I also like the fact that it's a star in a reasonably fast car, a rear wheel drive car should be a great watch. That said there are still faults.

Ditch the celeb being on the sofa at all times like it's the One Show. Go back to the old format with a definite section for the celeb.

Chris Harris - He was great on youtube but now he's on top gear he seems to be a bit of a pleb. He knows his shit and can really drive but he comes across as a bit lost when "acting" for the camera. Came across as rude to guests, obviously scripted but it didn't work.

Matt Le Blanc - 100% better than Chris Evans, nuff said

Rory Reid - just oozes coolness, really like him in the role.

I quite enjoyed it to be honest and will keep watching the series.

Reid and Harris aren't great presenters but they are very good motoring journalists.

To be honest I thought Grand Tour was complete bobbins, just didn't grip me at all
I watched 1.5 episodes then sacked it off .. I thought it was even more staged and cringeworthy than their Top Gear shows, which were at least enjoyable.

Hopefully this seasons Top Gear layout will be a lot better than last, I'll give it a watch later.
Gotta be better without the ginger tosser.

It made me laugh more times in one episode than the whole of last season combined. Has to go down as a success based on that alone

Watched the new episode last night and have to say i am impressed so far, good laughs, really like the 2 new guys but the guy who was in the car with James McAvoy seemed a bit angry/shouty when he was going around the track with him.
Apart from that very minor complaint I loved it
