    Question Got this email but not sure where its from?

    Im happy to ignore it but its bugging me

    It's from Linux User Group Darmstadt in Germany, I don't think they would be they type to be sending spam emails.

    I suspect someone has participated on one of their mailing lists but gave your email address.

    I wouldn't be surprised if you start getting a load of ultra geeky Linux related messages in the future. If that happens, I am sure they will happily remove you if you contact them, and this is one instance where I can confidently say that requesting to be removed will not result in loads more spam coming.
