My pc and xbox are hooked up to a projector so as Pressy says other than the cheaper hardware offered by the Scorpio (getting same spec PC wold be well over the touted Scorpio price which you would expect as the consoles are sold as loss losers) why would I buy it (of course I am going to buy it tho ;-)
