Help Cisco Aironet 2702i - Convert to Stand Alone mode

    Hi All

Is a bit of a shot in the dark.

I have 4 of these but want to convert them to Stand Alone/Autonomous mode but you need a Cisco Log In and Service Contract Required

Cant find the firmware anywhere so was wondering if anyone could has it/get it for me?

    Link on converting https://supportforums.cisco.com/disc...utonomous-mode

Link to download (as per last entry on above link) https://software.cisco.com/download/...reltype=latest

when you click download says need contract and login :-(

    Thanks

Its slightly off topic, have you looked to see over at https://cucumberwifi.io/ to see if they can work on his platform? They are not on the current compatible device list, but someone on their forum may have done something.

Actually, I just checked and that's the g1 firmware. For cisco stuff I usually just go to the cisco site and grab the filename, google does the rest

I was gonna post the exact same tip. Also worth getting name of latest fw, and last few versions, as I've found random free collections of files are often missing the latest version or two.

The firmware you need for the 2702i would be ap3g2-k9w7-tar.153-3.JD4.tar but it only come out yesterday.

The previous release would be this one:
    https://www.4shared.com/file/9VbZwh-...r152-4JB6.html

The page you linked to is for a 2600 series, the 2700 series is here:
    https://software.cisco.com/download/...reltype=latest
