I don't agree with any terrorist action but I have always said if you actually have an agenda or are trying to get change and are going to use violence you should be targeting the people who really do have a say and can influence things such as the Brighton bombing rather than attacking the poor fucker on a bus, train or even walking to work.

BBC News Parliament shooting: Police officer 'stabbed'

A police officer has been stabbed in the Houses of Parliament in central London, in what police are treating as a terrorist incident.
Commons Leader David Lidington told MPs the "alleged assailant was shot by armed police".
There are also reports of as many as five people being "mowed down" on nearby Westminster Bridge.
MPs said they had heard three or four gunshots. A Downing Street source said Prime Minister Theresa May was "OK".
Prime Minister Theresa May was seen being ushered into a silver Jaguar car as what sounded like gunfire rang out at Parliament during the incident.
Staff inside Parliament were told to stay inside their offices.
Tom Peck, political editor for the Independent, tweeted: "There was a loud bang. Screams. Commotion. Then the sound of gunshots. Armed police everywhere."
Press Association political editor Andrew Woodcock witnessed the scenes unfolding from his office window overlooking New Palace Yard.
"I heard shouts and screams from outside and looked out, and there was a group of maybe 40 or 50 people running round the corner from Bridge Street into Parliament Square.
"They appeared to be running away from something.
"As the group arrived at the Carriage Gates, where policemen are posted at the security entrance, a man suddenly ran out of the crowd and into the yard.
"He seemed to be holding up a long kitchen knife.
"I heard what sounded like shots - I think about three of them - and then the next thing I knew there were two people lying on the ground and others running to help them.
"Armed police were quickly on the scene and I heard them shouting to people to get out of the yard."
    'Mowed down'

An eye witness, Radoslaw Sikorski, a senior fellow at Harvard's Centre for European Studies, posted a video to Twitter showing people lying injured in the road on Westminster Bridge.
He wrote: "A car on Westminster Bridge has just mowed down at least 5 people."
Scotland Yard said it was called to a firearms incident on Westminster Bridge amid reports of several people injured.
Transport for London said Westminster underground station has been shut at the police's request, and buses diverted.
Mr Lidington said: "It seems that a police officer has been stabbed, that the alleged assailant was shot by armed police.
"An air ambulance is currently attending the scene to remove the casualties.
"There are also reports of further violent incidents in the vicinity of the Palace of Westminster but I hope colleagues on all sides will appreciate that it'd be wrong of me to go into further details until we have confirmation from the police and from the House security authorities about what is going on."

I'm not trying to make light of the situation, merely commenting on what a pain in the arse these types of incidents are for people.
No doubt laws will change, and Westminster and surrounding area's will be even more restricted than they currently are.
There will always be nutters, and they will always find a way of hurting / killing people. Thankfully they are few and far between in this country, but no doubt this will be played upon by the media / government to it's fullest. Spread the fear.

Are we really calling this terrorism? These clowns steal a 4x4, mow down a few pedestrians, stab a copper and then have the gall to call it 'jihad'. If I was the prophet Mohammed I'd have a minimum entry quota for paradise, as it's getting embarrassing.

BBC News London attack: Four dead in Westminster terror incident

Four people, including an armed police officer and a man believed to be the attacker, have died in a terrorist incident near the UK's Houses of Parliament, Scotland Yard has said.
A woman was among several pedestrians struck by a car on Westminster bridge, before it crashed into railings.
The officer was stabbed in the Houses of Parliament by an attacker, who was shot by police.
At least 20 people were injured, including three other officers.
Acting Deputy Commissioner and Head of Counter Terrorism at the Metropolitan Police, Mark Rowley, said a major terrorist investigation was under way.
Prime Minister Theresa May is to chair a meeting of the government's emergency Cobra committee later.

The French Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said three French school pupils were among the injured and offered "solidarity with our British friends, and full support" for the wounded students and their families.
The Port of London Authority said a woman has been pulled alive from the River Thames near the bridge and was being treated for serious injuries.

    Analysis

By Dominic Casciani, home affairs correspondent
The incident outside Westminster is exactly the kind of scenario that security chiefs have been planning for.
It looks like the type of attack jihadis have wanted to carry out in Britain - namely attacking people with a vehicle and taking on the security forces with knives.
In the security services' jargon this is known as a "marauding attack" and is the hardest type of terrorist incident to predict and defend against. That means casualties, as we have seen in Nice and elsewhere, are inevitable.
But what matters just as much is how the police then respond.
Armed police at Parliament were able to stop the attacker. Within minutes, Westminster was flooded with more armed officers, including counter-terrorism specialists.
Inside Scotland Yard, teams of detectives began working on the next critical phase - establishing the suspect's movements, whether he acted alone and, in tandem with their colleagues on the street, making sure London is as secure as it can be in light of these awful events.
Westminster remains locked down and it will remain so until Scotland Yard is certain the threat has been contained.

MPs said they had heard three or four gunshots and staff inside Parliament were told to stay inside their offices.
Commons Leader David Lidington told MPs the "alleged assailant was shot by armed police".
Shortly after the incident, a Downing Street source confirmed that Mrs May was safe.
The prime minister was seen being ushered into a silver Jaguar car as what sounded like gunfire rang out at Parliament during the incident.
The White House said later that Mrs May had spoken to President Donald Trump about the attack.
    'Screams and commotion'

Parliament was put into lockdown shortly after the incident at about 14:40 GMT.

Unconfirmed reports are that the perpetrator is hate preacher Trevor Brooks aka Abu Izzadeen.
The man was a nut nut, he should have been on a GPS tag.

Luckily for me, it was fine getting home. My train from Charing X at 17:27 was on time and not too busy. It goes through the new London Bridge station. And TBH it's there I shit myself as if I were a terrorist, that would get it.

I get the point from BB, but in this case the micro pricked beardy bastard ran down 20 odd people on the bridge before getting to the gates. That said you can bet MP's have woken up a bit and not perhaps living in their deluded bubbles so much. Hopefully even shitting themselves.

My worry is what happens now. What does the government do, what do the nutters do.

I'm still looking for my London exit plan. I for one want to be as far away from
this sort of shit as possible.

Fucking amateur hour. It's just some lunatic who watched one too many Youtube videos and decided he was going to be a big bad terrorist. How this is even getting reported as a a typical terrorist attack is embarrassing but the media do have to push their agenda don't they.

BBC News Seven held after Westminster attack

Seven arrests have been made in raids following the Westminster attack that left four dead, police have said.
Acting Deputy Commissioner and Head of Counter Terrorism Mark Rowley said hundreds of detectives have worked through the night, carrying out searches at six addresses.
Those who died were a woman in her 40s, a man in his 50s, PC Keith Palmer and the attacker, he said.
Seven of the injured are still in hospital in a critical condition.
A further 29 had been treated in hospital, Mr Rowley added.
In the attack on Wednesday, a man drove a car along a pavement in Westminster knocking down pedestrians, leaving dozens injured.
He then stabbed a policeman and was shot dead by police in the grounds of Parliament.
In a statement made outside Scotland Yard, Mr Rowley said: "The inquiries in Birmingham, London and other parts of the country are continuing.
"It is still our belief - which continues to be borne out by our investigation - that this attacker acted alone and was inspired by international terrorism.
"To be explicit, at this stage we have no specific information about further threats to the public."
It is was initially thought that three members of the public had been killed on Westminster Bridge, but Mr Rowley referred to just two in his statement.

BBC News Parliament to resume with minute's silence and PM statement

Parliament's security committee will hold an emergency meeting later following Wednesday's terror attack, Commons deputy speaker Lindsay Hoyle has said.
Security arrangements on the estate will be discussed. The Cabinet Office says a one minute's silence will be observed in Whitehall at 09:33 GMT.
Theresa May is expected to make a Commons statement about the incident.
MPs will also have a chance to pay tribute to the victims of the attack.
Speaking beside a police cordon outside Parliament, Mr Hoyle told BBC Breakfast: "Terrorism will not defeat democracy.
"We're in a village and our village policeman has been murdered and all of our thoughts are with the family and the other innocent victims.
"But of course the House must continue - we will not give in to terrorism and today we'll continue.
"We will be paying tributes later this morning and then the House will continue with its business."
Mr Hoyle, who is also chairman of the security committee, said: "We will be having an emergency meeting. We'll be getting information - what else needs to be put in place - and we will reflect, not instantly, we've got to take on board what's happened and we will make decisions accordingly. Of course, we've got to look after both houses."
He said there would be support for MPs and staff who "witnessed things they never expected to witness in their lives", he said.
The prime minister, who chaired a meeting of the emergency response committee Cobra, is expected to address MPs - at about 10:30 GMT - on Thursday with a message of reassurance, BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg said.
Defence Secretary Michael Fallon said the working assumption is the Westminster attack was linked to "Islamic terrorism".
On Wednesday, Mrs May denounced the "sick and depraved" attack in Westminster, in which five people died.
She stressed it would not stop people going to work as normal or Parliament from sitting on Thursday - and she praised the "exceptional bravery" of the police officer who died.
In a statement outside No 10 on Wednesday evening, Mrs May said her thoughts were with the officer's relatives and those others who had been killed and injured in the "appalling incident".
"For those of us who were in Parliament at the time of this attack, these events provide a particular reminder of the exceptional bravery of our police and security services who risk their lives to keep us safe.
"Once again today, these exceptional men and women ran towards the danger even as they encouraged others to move the other way."
