nearly 24 hours later and we are all still here, the country didnt implode, who would have thought it!
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

And the markets didn't move because yesterday was nothing more than political theatre. The pain starts 2 years from now.

And just like Donald Trump, Brexit will do nothing for the poor. The Tory vision for Brexit Britain is a low regulation, low wage, tax haven with vastly diminished workers rights in order to compete with the EU. This race to the bottom benefits nobody but the rich.

I agree but the poor are still poor with or without Brexit.

In my lifetime I have seen workers hours/wages/conditions/contracts etc all get worse, and this happened whilst we were in the EU. I won't even start on the chances of many owning or renting a home.

The gap between rich and poor has never been so massive. And this will accelerate greatly as we move into the age of robots and AI. If we don't remodel society soon, we'll soon see the first Trillionaire and with that we'll see huge swathes of the human population who are 'useless' to the economy.

The only reason governments and corporations try and make life for the majority at least somewhat bearable, is because they don't want revolution and they need a willing workforce. When the majority of the workforce is replaced by AI and robots, neither governments nor corporations need to provide us with anything. Then you will see a true dystopia.

We have the power to change things before it's too late, so there is hope. But with the rise of popular nationalist politics and maybe a move away from globalisation, the chances of us changing it are getting more unlikely by the day.

I agree but based on the media you would have thought the country was going to melt about 3 minutes after the announcement!

This sums Brexit up beautifully.. Over the decades we have managed to carve ourselves a sweetheart position within the EU and now we're throwing it all away for basically nothing.
