Default Any brains out there? (puzzle)

My dad has a puzzle game on his tablet called 'pushing machine' basically a typical push the box into this square type game. He often gets stuck on a level claiming its impossible so I end up doing that level for him. However he's stuck on a level and I can't figure it out, I think it might actually be impossible. Its level 12 on expert, this is on Android not sure if its the same or available on ios.
Here's a screen grab of the level.

Whats the rules behind this then the boxes need to go on the hazard areas and the cogs are what you push do they push as far as they can or can you select how far also I guess they only push 1 way but can you move them the other way.

Is this the start I be wary of the bottom box in the hazard area I doubt this is its correct home especially as it has 3 pushers around it?

Sorry I should have explained, the 4 brown boxes have to finish in each of the square hazard area boxes. When you touch the silver cog pusher type things they extend to the max, pushing either one box or pusher far as it can go. Touching it again retracts it, pushers that are extended cannot be moved. The pusher on the bottom left for example does nothing as it is facing the side.

    Heres an example level.

it is very hard to do without the game but yes it does look quite impossible, So if we say A1 is top left corner, as you need something in location E8 and you could use the pusher from D5 but there is nothing to stop it from being pushed to F5 instead of E5 to push the other one down.

The pusher in A8 cannot move? it will not push itself to E8?

A8 cannot be moved, neither can a7 or A6 as theres nothing you can get behind them. The box on c7 must be moved to d8 somehow because there aren't any pushers to push upwards so as soon as d6 goes down, its impossible.
Im not in anyway affiliated with te game but it is free and you can go straight to expert lv12 without doing any previous levels.

Yeah but I not got Andriod phone lol

But yeah I concur I think this one is impossible and the game makers have missed out a pusher somewhere but according to googleplay

"I GUARANTEE that it is possible to solve EVERY level. Some levels might seem unsolvable but they just require out of the box solution which makes this game so awesome!"

I think its kind of odd that a lot of solutions are actually on YouTube but this level is not.

Since reading this post a couple of days ago I'm now addicted!

I just completed the level you're asking about so it is possible. However I'm now trying to do it again to give you the walkthrough and I can't manage to repeat it.

Will update when I've done it again :-D

    Well done matey....

Just one thing in the middle you have a line 'A6 push and return' it should read 'F1 push and return'

But again well done and thanks.

    Thanks to Soulassassin

I've had that one before, I prefer the original brain it on though.
