    Default Bandwidth or firewall program

    When I'm offshore I'm limited to a post 2gb for 28 days. Needless to say I burn through this in about 3 weeks...leaving me.with fuck all to do in the last week.

    Need something that will block all traffic except Firefox...

    Any other ideas on limiting usage would be appreciated. I've added a plugin in Firefox to stop photos loading.

    Ideally a program that limits me to say 80mb a day would be better but the problem with this is that the system resets on the 1st of every month resetting you back to 2gb....ao basically if it's say the 22nd I join the ship I hammer through 2gb in 8 days until it resets again

    Company are stingy cunts

    Pretty sure in windows 10 if you change your network type to cellular it then lets you restrict on a per App basis the bandwith allowances etc

    Depends if you are talking PC / Win 10 scenario ???

    Vodafone do 25Gb SIM only deals at a reasonable price. That may be a better way to work on the problem

    One of these might help;

    This will convert your hardwire to wireless. It runs OpenWrt so you could probably lock down certain traffic.

    Thanks to MHP
