Aimed really at guys in the UK.
I can't stand this fucking heat.
Little sleep,
sticky bollocks
tired and irritable.
seriously considering having it fitted.
Anyone had it done?

No but remember a guy I worked with buying a new build and they offered him a whole house system for 1500 quid and he said no. Bad enough buying a brand new house to be fair but he was kicking himself a few months later.

Personally find in the UK a couple of fans does the job. Got one in the bedroom which has been on last couple of night intermittently and got another 1 or 2 if they are needed in the day.
I do enjoy Air Con where ever I find it but honestly not enough to argue the fans aren't doing the job.

It's only the end of May and I'm already hot and bothered. Fuck knows what July and August will bring.
I've got fans, but a South facing house front and large windows soon results in stifling temps - Even with thermal blackout blinds.
i just remember how shite it was last year, when it was really hot.
I've got a portable aircon unit that has drier style hose that you bung out the window, only use it maybe couple times a year but it does cracking job getting the bedroom cool.
Was about £400 but must had it 8-9 years old so nene worth it imo
Heat doesn't really bother me until evening time as like a cool room to sleep in .
The temp in there is now a nice 16 degrees and most house still a good 24/25 at min [emoji1360]

I find closing the blinds/curtains and windows helps during the day, once it cools down I open the curtains/windows front to back which lets the cooler air in/circulate.

Probably going to sound like a tight bastard now but I bought some netting like a black net curtain that sticks to velcro (white) that you put round the window. Then you can leave the windows open or on vent and have a through draught. It really does work. Although it means you can be disturbed by noise such as (here I go) fucking stupid water features, poor man's cock (noisy exhausts), stuff like cockerels, or my all time worst cunty mc cuntface garden ornament the wind chime.
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...

Sorry I forgot to say the purpose of the net is to let air flow but not bugs.

Get yourself a ceiling fan. An open window to let in cooler air and a fan to circulate it should be enough.
You can find some pretty nice ones with lights fitted too so it actually improves the look of the room too.
Can you reach them top cupboards Mr?
It's going to cool down next week.
This week is our sumer so make the most of it!

I love sleeping naked on the sheets, my man flopped to one side as a reminder to the missus that 'I AM MAN' fear me.

I have aircon due to being so close to Heathrow it's quite loud with the windows open. Better still BAA fitted it for free

I have a portable unit that I bought about 16 years ago. Bought it at the end of summer for £120 and it's still going strong. Well worth the money and they last a long time. Only issue is in the winter they are quite large and finding somewhere to store it is a PITA.
