The exorcist was a good series and I was a little surprised it's not coming back but there's not much more they could do with it to be fair.

Flash Forward should still be fucking going as it was immense.

MacGyver (sorry DJ), Arrow, Super girl, The Flash, Modern Family, Wives of (some shitty state) that will churn out shitty mindless crap year after year.

They're old but John Doe was one which I was a big fan of and it finished on a right cliffhanger and Now & Again was another show which I liked which got canned after 1 season.

John Doe is always my example of a missive cliff-hanger before cancellation when talking to people.

Not sure who makes the ultimate decisions on axing these shows, but I think a lot of stuff was axed due to numbers declining that they couldn't register - people watching on Catch-Up or by other means. Numbers used to only go by the amount of viewers at the original aired time and I think Almost Human fell fowl to that.

Trakt doesn't give a toss where you watched it (Live TV, downloaded, catch-up). It all gets logged.

We loved Limitless, a bit cheesy but really enjoyable.

Heroes was amazing for 2 series but really dropped the ball after that, a bit like lost did

Dexter was superb but could never quite get back the magic that was season 4. It tried and failed a few times. Lithgow was absolutely sublime.

Firefly was stupendously good and I still love watching it but I'm almost certain it was Joss Weadon that decided it was ending, not the network, before it got tired. You have to respect him for that.

The Exorcist really surprised me, I was expecting it to be crap but it wasn't and we loved it.

Timeless has had a reprieve and has another 10 episode 2nd season.
And the CW who have canned Frequency thought enough of the public to do a quick 3 minute epilogue which rounds its off fantastically in my opinion. It's up in the usual places.

Agree about revolution. Strong start, turned to shit.
Also love the Strain and thought the last season finished well. Personally think The Strain stands out from all the usual Zombie style series and brings something a bit more unique. Yes its cheesy as fuck at times, but I think it is brilliant.
