Always John Lewis. They will price match anyone who has even 1 high street store. Big difference with them is they give 5 years warranty.....And I can say from experience that they honour that very well.

Last one I bought was Richer Sounds - sign up for VIP club and get 6 year warranty.

As above, John Lewis and Richer Sounds. Costco also do 5 year warranty but you need to be a member.

Last TV i got from Costco.
But if i got another it would def be from Richer Sounds
RS superb, Costco are great for a warranty too, also AVFORUMS often have some nearly new units or really good second hand (with warranty) ones up for sale.

I've got a couple from Costco now and their afterservice is great.
John Lewis on the other hand were absolute dogshit - the first TV I bought from them about 18 months ago had an issue then it took them two weeks to send me another that was second hand (still had the original owners address on the sides and I knew they'd sent it back as faulty) and then they offered me just £20 for the inconvenience (off a £2k TV). I had to go to the John Lewis CEO to get him to get it sorted out and get me a refund which took a few weeks to sort out.
Another option you may want to look into are TPS over in Manchester - they do a 7 year warranty and you usually get a free wall mount as well - they're really good guys.

VERY! http://www.very.co.uk
12 Months interest free (Pay what you want during that time and not expecting a lump after the 12 months) without someone always recommended the slightly better TV and convincing you to never make a decision.
Went with the Panasonic Viera TX-58DX750B in the end. 4K TV just shy of £800 and is the perfect size at 58".
Extremely happy with it and the added bonus of 3D! Not at the high end, but not the low end either. Just right.

Another vote for RS.
Richer Sounds do a similar deal, but only upto 6 Months Interest Free.

If you're absolutely loaded, it's not a problem. For me, 12 months to pay £800 seemed like a no brainer.
Only got the 1 years warranty, but with the recent offer from Panasonic simply asking you to register, they offer 5 years extended warranty for free anyway.

Richer sounds,
Bought a £2,700 TV with 10 months to pay and it cost an additional £39
Also got a 6 year warranty chucked in, cant complain
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

To be honest, I've already got two Sammy's and they're brilliant.
My one requirement is 4x HDMI sockets, which unfortunately many don't have.
I got all tingly when I realised that some Sammy's use a one connect box, as I am going to wall mount it, so the thought of a single lead, instead of individual leads was of great interest.
But..
The one connect lead is both bespoke and stupidly short - loads moaning about it on various forums, so I am broadening my horizons and that Panny offer at Very is extremely tempting.
The one that came with mine, the lead is about a meter long. I have everything mounted behind my tv too. You can get the parts from http://www.samsungparts.com/Default.aspx

Went for the panny in the end. Being delivered Saturday.
Thanks for the advice guys.

The last two I've bought were a Panny 50" 4K from Costco which was £850 or something for the living room and a 50" Seiki cheapo HD for the bedroom from Currys. To be honest the Seiki is actually not a bad screen - not sure who the panel is made by but as I don't care about the Smart TV stuff for the bedroom it was a £250 well spent imo.
