Default Intex K1 inflatable solo kayak under £55 delivered

I have had one of these for 2-3 years now and it's fantastic, I mainly use it on local canals but it coped well in the river by me too on gentle waves (had my mate make some big waves with the jet ski too!). I can't recommend this enough for the price, easy to transport, inflated within 10 mins, not hard to deflate, copes well on the water. Check out the weigh restrictions though, I am around 10.5-11 stone, one of my taller, heavier mates did puncture his but the other 7 of us with one had no such problems.

Just bought myself a second for a spare or if a mate visits who doesn't have one.

Thanks, would you say it is no good for the sea then? Or is it ok if very calm sea etc.

    Nice find.

Well when I say river, it was a pretty big river (large barges sail around here as well as jet skis etc) so on calm water I think you'll be fine. It comes with a fin to keep you stable, netting on the front to hold your food and beers (I also got a wet bag for my phone etc). I wouldn't want to take it out on choppy waters in case you drift out to sea. You won't believe how firm and stable it is when you use it, on my first trip I was worried it would sink but was fine. It has a dual chamber too so you should be fine if the worst were to happen and one chamber was punctured. The vinyl seems to be really good quality so punctures are unlikely unless you go over something really sharp or if you overload it and a seam splits.

It's saved me a fortune as going out down the canals in the sun with some food and drink is a fun day out and costs a pittance compared to the usual places we go on our weekends.
